INDICATIVE PROGRAM
1th day 09/12/2021: Heraklion – Thessaloniki-Sofia
Gathering at the airport in the morning and departure for Thessaloniki. Arrival in Thessaloniki around 11:00 in the morning. Boarding the bus and departure for Sofia. After a beautiful route through green mountains and rivers we reach Sofia. Arrangement in the rooms. A tour of Sofia, the cathedral of Alexander Nevski, a temple with golden and bronze domes that is rumored to be the most photographed monument. Next to the cathedral, there is the Byzantine church of Agia Sophia and the monument of the Unknown Soldier, which is dedicated to the memory of the fallen for Bulgaria and is illuminated by a perpetual flame. Other attractions that we will visit are the Parliament of the neighboring country, the national theater “Ivan Vazov” whose façade consists of six white marble columns and reminds something of an ancient Greek building as they depict Apollo and the Muses, as well as the Opera House. Optional boarding of the cable car to ascend mount Vitocha to admire the panoramic city. Return to the center and free time for food, coffee and shopping in the busy Vitosha, where our hotel is very close. Overnight.
2nd day 10/12/2021: Sofia-BanskoAfter our breakfast, Free time for our last shopping in the Bulgarian capital. Departure for the beautiful Bansko.
Arrival in the Alpine landscape and time now free to relax on the premises of your hotel. Overnight.
3th day 11/12/2021 : Bansko (free day)
After breakfast, a free day to climb with the lifts to the ski resort or to tour the alleys of the old and the new town. Overnight
4th day 12/12/2021 : Bansko-Thessaloniki-Heraklion
After breakfast, departure for Thessaloniki. A short stop at the thermal baths for photos and departure for Sandaniski. Free time to tour, eat, coffee and shop. Arrival in Thessaloniki at the Kosmos shopping center near the airport. Time at your disposal for a short walk of relaxation. Transfer to the airport. Boarding the aircraft and arriving around 23:00 in the evening in Heraklion.
